With a career spanning over 44 years, Nicholas Kirke has built and led successful businesses across education, healthcare, hospitality, recruitment, manufacturing, and retail. His entrepreneurial journey has taken him across Australia and Southeast Asia, where he has dedicated more than three decades to creating opportunities and uplifting communities through skills development, job creation, and accessible education.

Driven by a belief that education is the key to economic mobility, Mr. Kirke has played a pivotal role in reshaping training pathways in the region. His efforts led to the founding of Australasian Training College, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO #46174), with the goal of delivering practical, nationally recognised qualifications that empower learners for real-world success.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kirke has received multiple recognitions for business innovation and leadership:

Two-time recipient of the Australian Business Innovation Award from the Australian-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (ANZCHAM)

Honoured with the Asia Global Heroes Highest Award (2021) for his contributions to healthcare, education, and employment during the COVID-19 pandemic

Recognised by the Philippine government with pioneer and preferred investor status, following a landmark achievement as the first foreign entity granted 100% ownership of a healthcare company in the country

Served a seven-year term as Business Ambassador to the Philippines for the City of Ipswich, Queensland, strengthening international partnerships

Mr. Kirke’s vision for ATC was shaped by decades of hands-on experience—identifying gaps in industry training, witnessing the untapped potential workforce, and recognising the need for education that leads to employment. Today, Australasian Training College stands as a reflection of that mission: to deliver high-quality, skills-based training that meets industry needs and transforms lives.
