His passion for developing practical, industry-aligned learning models and his commitment to lifelong learning have shaped the foundation of Australasian Training College. With a global perspective and deep understanding of workforce needs, Dr. O’Hanlon-Rose plays a vital role in ensuring education remains accessible, relevant, and transformative for students across Australia and the ASEAN region.

With over 43 years of experience as an educator, innovator, and business leader, Dr. Terry O’Hanlon-Rose has dedicated his life to advancing education that is both accessible and globally relevant. His extensive career spans education, training, manufacturing, and professional associations, giving him a rich, multi-sector understanding of how learning transforms lives and drives national development.
Dr. O’Hanlon-Rose played a key role in the development of Australasian Training College (Registration Code 46174), driven by a vision to bridge the gap between education and employment. His work is grounded in a deep belief in lifelong learning, learner agency, and industry-aligned curriculum—principles that continue to shape the College’s approach to vocational education and training.
A Fellow of the Australian College of Educators and the Business Educators’ Association of Queensland, Dr. O’Hanlon-Rose brings academic depth and practical leadership to his role.
His passion for constructivist teaching—with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and employability skills—has led to the development of training models that meet real-world workforce needs.
